A gift-in-kind is a non-monetary donation.  It’s a donation that both the donor and FGC can feel good about!

 

Goods:  These are physical items that will enhance our mission.  For example:  a trampoline, juggling balls, fabric or even a car or land.  Most items are kept, but in the case of a car or land, they may be sold to use the income to further help FGC.

 

Services:  These are a gift of time performing a service that would otherwise need to be paid for.  For example:  coaching services, accounting services, transportation, or catering.

 

In-lieu-of:  A person may pay for a service, accepting the bill on our behalf. 

For example:  paying for the accountant doing our tax preparation.

 

Gifts-in-kind are tax-deductible.
