Circus After School Program at

Heron Pond Elementary School

Fall 2018

Call Us: 1-413-313-1778

The Circus After School Program (CASP) is a fun place to practice a growth mindset and work on mastering skills that, though they may at first seem difficult, are easily attainable with steady practice. Circus skills improve strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, self-confidence and social skills. In the Circus After School Program at Heron Pond, students will be given instruction in a wide range of circus skills, including basic tumbling and acrobatics, ball juggling, diabolo (Chinese yo-yo), trick sticks, rolling globe, rolla bolla (balance board), poi spinning, and human pyramids. There will also be time for improvisational games and clowning exercises, with an emphasis on fun and play.

This Season, we will be showcasing our skills in a Performance! The Flying Gravity Circus Green Troupe will be Performing at Heron Pond on Nov. 17, and the Circus After School Program Participants will perform an opening act, and may have more parts in the show depending on interest!
