Amy Kleine
Early Childhood Team | Coach
Amy Kleine is an early childhood educator who has worked for many moons in local and international Waldorf Schools. She loves to share the joy of movement and play with children and finds that circus arts are a perfect outlet for this endeavor. Amy completed her Waldorf Teaching Certification at Antioch Graduate School and worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Pine Hill Waldorf School in Wilton, NH for many years. Attending the Hilltop Circus with a group of young students was a much anticipated event as we “played circus” before, during, and after each show! Amy is an alum parent of Hilltop Circus 3 times over, witnessing hula hoopers, clowns, jugglers, and rolla bollers come forth out of her own children. From Pine Hill, Amy went on to teach internationally at Guanacaste Waldorf School in Costa Rica, validating that young children love to move, and they love to play, and they will follow gestures, even if they don’t understand the language being spoken. Amy likes to make up silly songs and sometimes plays her ukelele as an accompaniment. Amy brings a patient, joyful, kindness to her work with young children as an observer and a support of each child’s developing capabilities.
