Circus After School Programs
Circus skills are a fun way to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, self-confidence and social skills. In our Circus After School Programs (CASPs) and In-School Residencies, students are given instruction in a wide range of circus disciplines, including basic tumbling and acrobatics, ball juggling, diabolo (Chinese yo-yo), trick sticks, rolling globe, rola bola (balance board), poi spinning, and human pyramids. We also explore performance through improvisational games and clowning exercises, with an emphasis on fun and play.
A CASP typically runs once a week for 7-10 weeks. An in-school residency takes place during the school day, usually one class a day for 1 week or more. We can tailor our program to suit the needs of your students and your space, be it gym, classroom, playground, or other school space.

Under The Tent: Circus From Home!
In light of the 2020 pandemic, we adapted our CASP curriculum to serve kids ages 6-12 who were stuck at home without access to a circus studio or any equipment.
Under The Tent presents an opportunity to learn circus skills, including how to make some equipment from household materials, via a live one-hour class with a Flying Gravity coach.
All that's needed is a computer or phone with a camera that can connect to the internet, a space to move around, an adult nearby, and a willingness to have fun!
